Job Description

Administrative Support:
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments through phone, email, or scheduling software.
  • Send timely reminders for upcoming appointments and follow-up visits.
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately within the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Assist with verifying insurance details and processing pre-authorizations.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes, ensuring proper documentation.
Patient Interaction:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
  • Direct complex patient concerns to the relevant medical staff or departments.
  • Collect and update patient information during virtual check-ins to ensure accurate records.
  • Provide clear instructions for telehealth sessions and other virtual healthcare services.
Office Coordination:
  • Oversee daily workflows to ensure efficient communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and ensure alignment with medical providers’ availability.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines and optimize clinic operations.
